Blood is composed of red blood cells, white blood cells, platelets, plasma, salt and water. Each of these components has a role to play in the proper functioning of the body. Since many types of substances are responsible for blood composition, there can be many types of blood disorders.

Blood disorders can be diagnosed after a test for complete blood count or cbc test. After the diagnosis, treatment is carried out by the doctor depending on the type of blood disorder.

Tiredness, Loss of breath, Weak concentration, Weakness of muscles, Rapid heartbeat, Uneasiness

Symptoms of Platelet Disorders

Slow healing of cuts and wounds, Bleeding from gums, Bleeding from nose, Brittle skin that bruises easily, Slow or no blood clotting after an injury

Do’s

• Eat food rich in nutrients
• Consult a doctor
• Perform regular exercise
