That is a woman for you, owning her power and prowess for ages. One moment she may seem delicate, the other moment she would bounce back with all her strength. When speaking about strength, the spirit of Laxmi Aggarwal cannot be ignored. Being a survivor of an acid attack herself, she launched a campaign ‘Stop Acid Attack’ and has remained instrumental in generating livelihood for women who have bravely survived an acid attack. India is fortunate to have exemplary women to look up to. Industry leaders such as Kiran Mazumdar Shaw and Suneeta Reddy to women in Bollywood like Priyanka Chopra and Deepika Padukone. We have women leaders in every sphere and were one of the first countries in the world to have a woman Prime ministers, Indira Gandhi, a feat not many developed nations can also boast of. To celebrate the dauntless inner being of every woman, 8th March has been recognized as International Women’s Day.

Having such powerful women at the helm of business, fashion, politics, arts, policy making, teaching, medicine, one would think women’s health is a huge market and priority for India. Unfortunately, that is a part of society often overlooked whether at a policy making level or at home.

Delving into the article further would give you an insight of the health issues women are prone to:

  • Heart Diseases:
One in every four women dies of heart disease. Although, it is believed that heart diseases are more common in men but the trends are changing and the chances of women to survive a heart disease are lesser than men. Women are at higher risk of heart attack between 40 to 50 years of age and around 60 years of age. This is because the former age group goes through menopause; changes in hormones do not give enough protection to women’s health.  The pressure of work and family and the loneliness as children leave for colleges and offices also increases their risk of heart attack.
Deterioration of body after the age of 60 years makes women prone heart diseases.
To prevent heart diseases and manage their risk factors such as high blood pressure and high cholesterol; Preserva Wellness has designed Cardigold Juice and Cholestoblast Capsules.A woman standing in the lavender fields with open arms and a tiara on her head

If it is not treated, the tumor can spread to other organs of the body. The symptoms of ovarian cancer can include abdominal pain, pressure and bloating, abnormal fullness after eating, difficulty eating, increase in urination, increased urge to urinate, irregularities in menstrual cycle or periods, painful intercourse.

Cervical cancer occurs in the cells of cervix, the lower part of the uterus that connects to vagina. Various strains of Human Papilloma Virus (HPV) are instrumental in causing most cervical cancers. Signs and symptoms include vaginal bleeding after intercourse, between periods or after menopause; watery, bloody vaginal discharge that may be heavy and may have a foul odour. Cervical cancer can cause discharge and pain during intercourse.

Women can prevent and mange ovarian and cervical cancer with Immunoblast Capsules and Boosthealth Tablets.

  • Autoimmune Diseases:
Majority of people with autoimmune disorders are women. The fluctuation of sex hormones in women is associated with worsening of autoimmune diseases. Some foetal cells remaining in the blood after pregnancy, stronger inflammatory responses in women when their immune systems are triggered, and presence of two ‘X’ chromosomes in women in contrast to one ‘X’ chromosome in men are thought to be the factors behind higher number of autoimmune diseases in women.

Symptoms can include exhaustion, mild fever, pain in affected parts or joints, skin irritation, vertigo and specific symptoms of specific autoimmune diseases. Specific curcumin herbal products for different autoimmune diseases have been designed by Preserva Wellness. E.g. Rheumatoid arthritis can be managed with Arthrogold Tablets and Arthroblast Juice.

  • Skin Problems:
Stress-related skin problems like psoriasis, seborrheic dermatitis, acne, eczema, hives, vitiligo can affect women.  Internal fatigue also causes dullness and dryness on skin. To reduce skin problems in women, curcumin-based herbal Oxyrich Juice and Oxyrich Capsules have been designed. “It's long past time we started focusing on the solutions that actually keep women healthy, instead of using basic aspects of women's health as a tool of cultural, moral, and political control.” The bearers of the next generation are brave enough to take care of themselves, little concern from you can make her emotionally and mentally healthy.
